Agreement

By using Simply Finance (“the App”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app. Simple as that.

What the app does

Simply Finance is a personal finance tracker. You can log transactions, track account balances, set budgets, and view spending reports. All data is stored locally on your device.

Your data, your responsibility

Your financial data is stored on your device. We do not have access to it and cannot recover it if lost. You are responsible for:

  • Backing up your data using the in-app export feature
  • Understanding that deleting the app removes all your data
  • Keeping your device secure, since your data lives on it

Sync

Data sync across devices is powered by SimplySync, our own end-to-end encrypted sync engine. We cannot read your synced data. By default, sync uses our hosted relay servers. You can also host your own sync server for full control over your sync infrastructure.

Purchases

The app is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play. Some optional features are unlocked by a one-time in-app purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We do not process payments directly.

No financial advice

Simply Finance is a tracking tool, not a financial advisor. The app does not provide investment advice, tax guidance, or financial recommendations. Consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

Accuracy

You enter your own data manually. The app displays what you put in. We are not responsible for inaccurate data entry or any decisions made based on the information shown in the app.

Availability

We aim to keep the app available and working, but we don’t guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted service. The app works offline by design, so most functionality doesn’t depend on our servers.

Limitation of liability

Simply Finance is provided “as is” without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to data loss, financial loss, or missed transactions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
